Daniel Larmon
Owner / Personal & Group Trainer / Run Coach

I strongly believe in multi joint functional movements and body weight exercies. My goal during your training is to progress you slowly, so you feel good while improving strength, range of motion, daily living and live a healthier lifestyle.

My background includes 28 years of athletic training revolving around baseball, football, track, karate, running and triathlons. My love for fitness started when I was six while training and playing sports. I loved athletic training and coached baseball and football for several teams before I was 21.

Injuries kept me from expanding my athletic ability, but that didn't stop me from playing in several adult flag football and baseball leagues. As a player, I trained teammates on how to improve their hitting, fielding and athletic ability.

That all stopped when I turned 30 and I balloned up to 195lbs at one point. While holding my son at 35 and having chest pains, I decided enough was enough and signed up for my first triathlon. At 35 years old I lost 43lbs within six months and completed my first triathlon in June 2010. Two months later I was finished 3rd place within my age group for the Jax Sprint Series award! Those same injuries reappeared over the next two years and I had to stop racing in 2013.

It was at 37 that I rededicated my life to feeling healthy; healing old injuries and improving my daily living. In doing so, I have become healthier and stronger both physically and mentally than I was in my 20s.

At 38 I won my age group in that same series and improved my biking speed to 24mph for 16 miles and had my fastest times as a runner at 41 with a 5:32 mile PR. I took on a mentality of "less is more" and became more efficient.

"Less is More" and staying comfortable, improving range of motion will keep you injury free and more athletic!
